Each year in May, Brighton has an event called Open House. This basically means that local artists can open up their studios or flat on weekends to exhibit and sell their art work to the public. One of my neighbours invited me and my boyfriend who paints landscapes to take part in this event… and this little octopus was the first of many creatures I had on display.
